Othello Park Alliance (OPA) loves the 7 acre Othello Park in Southeast Seattle.

Since its inception, OPA has endeavored to uphold and upgrade the park’s assets for the neighbors and the wider Southeast Seattle communities. By partnering with the City of Seattle, funders, local businesses, visionary professionals and organizers, and community activists, this amazing teamwork is why Othello Park is looking pretty impressive and family friendly these days.

OPA raised $1,000,000 for Park and Playground improvements

Safe passages between Othello, Van Asselt and John C. Little Parks

Constructing the Othello Park Stage, Youth programs

Major Othello Park Playground Improvements: basketball courts, installation of benches and game tables, prep for P-Patches, rain gardens and bio-swales to address drainage, way-finding markers, expansion, and accessibility.
